W.M. Grace Companies was founded in 1966 by W.M. “Bill” Grace. As a General Contractor, Bill believed there was a better way to meet a client’s needs in construction and development. His idea of bringing all trades together under one roof was prescient yet seen as radical at the time. The most professional people in our industry were invited to join the team and within 10 years we used the Design/Build process to construct and develop retail, casinos, and hotels in more than 24 states. Over the past 65 years, we have built or developed over 300 projects totaling more than 30 million square feet of retail, Industrial, and Hospitality product. W.M. Grace Companies has worked with retailers such as Walmart, Harkins, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Fry’s, Safeway, Ross, AMC 24, Marshalls, Office Max, and Bashas’, to name a few.
